Hope for the
suffering
By Ajayi Monday
God’s ways are far from man’s way. In
carrying out the plan of salvation, God choose to send Jesus
to come through humble and poor parents. He chose poor local
carpenter rather than a King acquainted with pomp and
pageantry. Jesus chose a very humble way of life, laying aside
His heavenly glory, because of this humble background, there
was nothing to attract worldly people to Him. Those who lived
in His days despised Him instead of honouring Him. God choose
that He should redeem man through His suffering rather than he
being conquering messiah. >>More
Adultery: An offence
Growing up in Nigeria
has been a great experience for me and I have seen so many
abominations under the sun. One of the abominations is
Adultery. We claim as Nigerians, that we have a high moral
standard; yet adultery and incest is prevalent. Men have been
given the license to commit adultery and their wives are
expected to understand. Young ladies are encouraging these
values, because of a lack of moral values from their own
mothers. We are being affected by this sin of adultery which
is a capital offense in the eyes of God.>>More
Waging war against poverty
DAVID OYEDEPO
Many families are passing through hard
times, with many being ignorant of the causes of their
predicament. Their conditions worsen till they find themselves
at low levels of poverty and frustration. The on-going
economic recession may not be the cause of their poverty,
because many covenant people are still enjoying surplus!

Who is your friend?
MIKE OKONKWO
Last week, we looked at
bringing out the hero in you. Many people are consumed with
the economic challenges that they cannot see beyond the gloomy
picture; however, we established the fact that right inside
you is a hero. You have all it takes to be the best that God
has made in that field; God has not made you for mediocrity,
rather you are made for excellence; you are born to taste the
grapes of abundance... >>More
How To Experience
Supernatural Turnaround In Your Life (1)
Pastor Chuks Ihedigbo
Text: Gen 30: 25-43,
2Kings 5: 1-14, Luke 5: 1-9
The story of second
Kings Chapter seven has always captured my mind and leaving no
room for argument about God’s ability to reversed every
negative experience in life. Here is a story of a the people
of Samaria going through terrible times of famine: A time when
food was no where to be found, and the people not only
resorted to feeding on doves dungs but equally on boiling
their children to eat... >>More

Jesus in the stormy
boat
BY EMMA OKAELU
The Bible records in
Mark chapter 4, from verse 36 that Jesus was in the boat with
His disciples, wanting to cross over to "the other side."
(Compare it with Luke 8 from verse 23). When the disciples
started rowing, the wind was against them, while Jesus lay
fast asleep on a pillow... >>More |
