The city of Abuja is witnessing
the largest influx of football fans this weekend as Manchester United
and Portsmouth clash in the FCT. Fans of both clubs are spotted
chattering big buses to convey their members to Abuja to cheer their
favourite clubs.
Both clubs are scheduled to
clash on Sunday, July 27, but Portsmouth are billed to play Pillars on
Saturday.
The Saturday match is scheduled
to kick off by 4.p.m, whole the Sunday game is expected to be played
under flood light, and will kick off by 7p.m.
Organisers of the event
disclosed to Sporting Champion that they want all the fans to have the
opportunity of watching the match hence the choice of Abuja and the
minimum gate fee of N1, 000 and N2, 500, respectively
