United State House Speaker, Hon. Nancy
Polosi and Oakland Council member, Nancy J. Nadel have honoured the National
Association of Seadogs (NAS) International for their commitment towards
promoting human understanding around the world.
This award was given to them during
the 5th annual program of Black History celebrations at Oakland
city Hall, Califonia.
Speaking during the occasion, the US
House Speaker expressed happiness for joining NAS and thanked the members
for the good job they had been doing. "I am delighted to join the National
Association of seadogs in celebration of Black History Month. We thank all
those who have worked to shape an American identity that embraces the
cultural diversity within our great nation".
In his speech, NAS Northern Califonia,
Afta Shock zone, Cagoon Echinci Oshionwu said they were pleased to continue
in the NAS tradition of enlightening the community. He also commended Ms.
Pelosi for her acknowledgment and recognition of NAS.
