NANF storms Ibadan for
street soccer
The National Association
of Nigeria Footballers (NANF) has lightened up the city of
Ibadan with Nationwide Open Street Soccer Championship that will
be competed within the 33 local governments in the State.
briefing news men at
Liberty Stadium Ibadan on the project, NANF Executives led by
their President, Harrison Jalla said the nationwide open street
soccer championship will be competed by players within the ages
of 13 -15.
According to the NANF boss
the tournament would be an annual event in NANF’s calendar to
validate registration of members annually.
He said that cash prizes
will be won by winners "The Championship is laced with
mouth-watering prizes and incentives for the participants" he
noted.
He also added that the
body would also unveil the Nigeria Football Data Base Through an
E-Commerce portal website which is powered by Intercontinental
Bank.
Jalla claimed that the
website will serve as the authentic information bank for all
categories of Nigerian players.
