After a brilliant result
by Nigeria’s male team against Jamaica on Tuesday , Estonia, one
of the break away Republics of old Soviet Union is on the card
as the 38th World Chess Olympiad enters the crucial stage today
in Dresden, Germany.
International Master, Dapo
Adu, will have to dig well into several variation of Sicilian
Defence if he hopes to survive the pressure from Grand Master

Kighiga is expected to play at full concentration in the middle
play when he engages International Master, Olav Sepp (2397) on
board three and Charles Campbell will be on board four against
Aleksadir Volodin who is yet to drop a game so far in the
series.
Against all expectation,
Adegboyega Adebayo, will watch the proceedings from the stand
after doctors in Dresden diagnose him of fever but he his
expected to be in action from tomorrow, said team leader DCP
Sani Mohammed yesterday afternoon."
It’s a good for us at the
end of the day even if our best player is not in action against
Estonia considering the fact that he has played all through and
will require a rest at least twice so long as he meets up with
required number of games in the competition."
