Nigeria clears Paris Club debts

President Olusegun Obasanjo yesterday announced the country's final exit from $30 billion debts owed the Paris Club of creditors by tomorrow. He said the Minister of Finance, Dr. (Mrs.) Ngozi Okonjo- Iweala had already issued the instruction for the immediate payment of the remaining $6 billion. >>more
